Painted Prairie Vineyard

Welcome to Painted Prairie Vineyard!  Started in 2006, we offer Frontenac, LaCrescent and Marquette grapes that produce outstanding wines, juice and jellies .  Located in the scenic Coteau des Prairies region of Minneosta, Painted Prairie Vineyard specializes fine wines produced from Minnesota grown grapes.

WANTED:  We are looking to purchase the following grapes in 2010:  Edelweiss, St. Pepin and Marquette.  Please contact us if you have grapes for sale. 

We will be offering limited quantities of Frontenac (red) and LaCrescent (white) grapes for sale in 2010.  We also have Marquette grapes planted that will be available in 2011. 

We are in the process of becoming a licensed winery and most of our grapes will be used for wine production.  We anticipate the opening of our winery in May 2011.

Grape harvest is dependent on the weather.  Check back frequently for updates.  Grapes are typically ready for harvest in early to mid September.  Pick your own price is $1/pound.  Use of the grape crusher and press are free
